Switching to Solar
October 30, 2009 6:21 am HomeI recently received my gas bill and I am done with natural gas. Solar energy may be my best alternative. One thing I am looking into is a solar water heater as these cost less money over the long run. My current thought is that the initial investment may be high, but since they are charging me usage fees over the summer that exceed my natural gas usage by about 400% a solar water heater would definitely be a long term savings. Now I just have to choose a make and model. Hopefully, that won’t take long as I am excited about getting set up.
