Stretching to Help Reduce Back Pain

Many people who have suffered from back pain have all at least tried to stretch and exercise their back, abdominal and buttock muscles.  These three muscles help to support the spine against physical activity and gravity.  Weak muscles also contribute to back pain.  But doing back pain exercises regularly, for example doing pelvic tilts can help reduce back pain and they even work out the abs too!  It’s also important to warm up before doing any back exercises because if you don’t, your back is then more likely to get sore.  Warm muscles then are more flexible and will tear less easily than cold muscles.
