Panic Attacks Can Happen In Your Sleep

At least half of the people who have panic anxiety attacks will experience at least one attack during sleep. These are rare but people who experience this may also suffer from insomnia and broken sleep. There are two ways to get a panic attack while sleeping.

One is to suddenly wake up with a dreadful feeling that you are about to have a panic attack and the other is to have a panic attack while sleeping. A person having an attack during sleep will experience similar symptoms as an attack while awake plus some other symptoms unique to sleeping panic attack disorder such as pressure in the ears, head ache and grinding teeth.
