In this economy I have to save money wherever possible and if that means that I make a homemade card instead of spending $4 on a Hallmark brand made card, then I will do just that. With the help of the Internet and a card that I need I can easily copy some thank you quotes and write in a piece of stock paper. Isn’t suppose to be the thought that counts anyway so if I actually make the card instead of buying it does that mean more to the receiver? Either way I have a way to save a little money.

When I was planning my wedding, I had a really hard time finding the perfect stuff to use in my wedding. You see, I live in a pretty small town, and going to the closest big city would have to be a day long trip - and you know you can’t plan those all the time. I homeschool my four children and have managed to foster in them a love for reading.  We take many trips to the library and have purchased hundreds of books and magazines for our home library.  One of the things that I love about the Internet is that the reading can continue for countless hours.  When my kids have a research project they will now go to some of their favorite online sites to get articles and information.  One day my oldest son typed in Read and came up with this site that had lots of articles on a variety of subjects.  All my kids love this site.  I love that there are so many opportunities for kids to read.

Does Life Change for Exmormons?

When people leave the Mormon church and become exmormon, they claim their lives don’t really change. How does their life change besides taking up drinking, maybe smoking, breaking the law of chastity, not paying tithing, not praying, not studying the scriptures, not having a calling, drinking coffee and tea, and other things contained in the Word of Wisdom? I’ve seen this claimed many times as if these changes aren’t a big deal, but it is a big deal to an exmormon person’s family who still remains. It was a big deal when my uncle started drinking and when he decided looking at nude women on the internet and going to strip clubs was OK.

Children Thinks of More Than Playing

My children are very excited to see what is under the tree for them on Christmas morning. Although my children’s list consist of mostly toys, I make every effort to include some educational pieces as well. Both of my children has been through the phonics program and now they really love to read. Therefore, I make sure they are supplied with plenty of books that they would enjoy. It makes my day when I walk in a room and find them reading a book instead of playing the video game. I love talking them to the store and having them ask me to buy them a book.

I Will Want to Negotiate My Dental Assistant’s Salary after I Have Worked for a While

I am very excited and really nervous at the same time. Tomorrow I have my first job interview with a large practice in town. Iwould love to get this job because I could continue to live at home, especially until I pay off my college loans. At some point I’m sure we’ll discuss dental assistants salary, but I am not going to be too demanding. I want to get hired first and then negotiate if I need to when they see how indispensable I am. Getting a job is always a scary thing, I guess, but a lot is riding on my getting hired here. I really hope that I can sufficiently impress them.

Medical Field of Work

My son is training to be a Surgical Technician in the military.  He is really excited because he can use these skills to find a great job when his four years of military service is completed.  He was researching the average surgical tech salary and he was quite happy about the results.  I think that this will be a very secure job for him and I know that he will excel in this area.  He has always been a smart kid and I know that he will be successful in whatever he decides to do.  I could not be more proud of him.

With the Internet you have an unlimited number of resources at your fingertips any hour of the day. Now with so many online resources, no job or task is too great. I have been able to use many online resources to complete daily tasks, such as finding recipes, writing papers for school, and learning how to create a web page. Anytime I have any questions about anything I can simply turn to my computer and use the many resources that are available to me online. It’s Been a Good Move

Sometimes things that seem bad in the first place end up being pretty good opportunities in the long run. That has been the case with my husband being laid off. It was scary at first, but now we have a new business venture running a thrift and antique shop. Since we live in California, we have ended up a lot wine collectibles. We found a great wine antiques book that is really helpful in searching, buying and pricing these lovely pieces. I wouldn’t say that this has become our niche just yet, but we do seem to have several customers that check back regularly.
