Manager Ensures Safety Compliance

I have a job that requires a lot of responsibility. I am a manager at a steel mill, and the safety of my area is under my direct control.  Not only are safety issues important to reduce injury for my crews, but also because we need to remain in compliance with all the government standards for our business.  That is not always an easy job, especially when guys don’t want to wear their msa hard hats.  I would assume that they would like the protection that they offer, but they often forgo them in favor of comfort.  Hence, my job is to ensure the compliance with all of the rules and regulations.
