Few Job Opportunities in House Building

Job Opportunities are still very poor in the house building sector. Bovis Homes, one of the biggest companies, dived to an £8.6 million pre-tax loss in the first six months of the year. The fall in house prices and value of land has hit it hard, and they will not be paying out an interim dividend. Strangely enough, due to the fact the losses were not as bad as analysts had feared, the share price of Bovis Homes actually rose slightly on the news. Although the housing market had seen a slight upturn over the past six months many builders are very cautious about the future.
