According to the latest estimates by the National Business Incubator Association (NBIA), in 2005 alone, North American business incubators assisted more than 27,000 startup companies. There are many of them that caught our eyes and might help you get your business started. The more successful ones hailed from New York, Colorado, California, Michigan, Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania, Missouri, a recently Maryland has been in the news for it’s minorities business incubator which is centered on tech industry business ventures for women, African Americans, and veterans. This is a new trend in business incubator programs and it will be interesting to see the success rates of such operations.
